Terms of Service

The straightforward rules for using DinnerVeto. Last updated: June 8, 2026.

1. What DinnerVeto Is

DinnerVeto™ is a real-time choice-elimination utility. Players join a shared room via a 4-digit code, are presented with a list of nearby restaurant options, and take turns vetoing cards until a single option survives. DinnerVeto is a decision-making tool — it is not a restaurant reservation platform, food delivery service, or real-time inventory system.

2. Weekend Pass — $0.99, 72 Hours

  • Price: $0.99 USD, one-time payment processed by Stripe.
  • Duration: Grants temporary premium access for exactly 72 hours (3 days) from the moment the payment is confirmed.
  • Non-recurring: The Weekend Pass is NOT a subscription. Nothing renews automatically. There is nothing to cancel.
  • Server-side verified: Pass expiry is enforced on our servers, not on your device. When the 72-hour window ends, premium features are immediately gated again.
  • Stacking: Buying a new Weekend Pass while one is still active extends your remaining time by 3 more days.
  • Refunds: Due to the immediate digital nature of the pass, all sales are final once premium access has been delivered.

3. Limitation of Liability

DinnerVeto is provided "as is" for entertainment and decision-making purposes only. We do not guarantee that any restaurant surfaced in a room is open, accepting customers, has accurate pricing, is within its advertised hours, or matches any specific dietary requirement. Restaurant data is sourced from third-party providers and may be incomplete or out of date — always confirm with the venue before traveling.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DinnerVeto™, its operators, and its affiliates are not liable for any dinner disagreements, hurt feelings, ruined date nights, closed kitchens, missing menu items, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use DinnerVeto only for lawful purposes and not to abuse, reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent the round limits, paywall, or rate limiting. We may suspend access for accounts or sessions that abuse the service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the service — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of DinnerVeto™ and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. DinnerVeto™ is a common law trademark; unauthorized use of the name, logo, or branding is prohibited.

6. Changes & Governing Law

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
